Amaroq's Story
Born: 19th April 1989 - 22nd April 2005    Sire: Kamchatka's Alexei at Aceca Dam: Glenhusky Koushka
Eyes: Clear   Hips: Not Tested
Ran: Wheel
Amaroq was my first pure-bred Siberian and he taught me a great deal about the breed - not least that even an unenthusiastic worker can achieve a little on the trail. Although never much of a show dog,

Amaroq enjoyed modest success in the ring under all-rounders, and won Best Veteran In Show at Working and Pastoral Breeds of Scotland's Open Show - an award of which we were both very proud.

Amaroq was always a very lively, playful boy and enjoyed showing the younger pack members the proper rules for games. He loved toys, walks and cheese, and was partial to a banana when one was available.

Little Amaroq left us as a result of a serious stroke, but he was well and active right through his old age. He was a good friend, companion and father figure to the younger pack members, and will be deeply missed by us all.

Run free my first son - my love will always be with you.
