| Bilka,
one of the "Starlight" litter, is a litte gem. Almost from
the minute she was born I knew that she would be the one who
would stay here with us, and as she grew she made herself
very much part of the family. She was the nosiest of the
pups when they were tiny, was the first to escape from the
whelping box (I was washing up and looked down to see a
little white face peering up at me) and was generally into
everything as soon as she could.
She has grown into an elegant young
lady with a super outline and a happy, playful temperament.
She loves nothing better than a good walk, and her agility
and enthusiasm should stand her in good stead for her
working career.
So far Bilka hasn't really enjoyed
her show outings, but still managed a VHC placing at Border
Union Ch. Show under Breed Specialist Tracy Pittock. She
will be back in the ring again next year after a season's
work helps her mature and gain confidence. |
