Chara is a mouse hunter extraordinaire, and can dig a hole very quickly in seconds. It really is remarkable how suddenly she will tunnel downwards and produce quite a pit before you know it. She is also an avid chicken watcher and is always the first up to the fence when the hens venture too near.

She enjoys  the company of her father who is gentle and has the quiet sort of temperament she prefers. She also likes to play with Onieda and Bilka. Mostly she is above pack politics and prefers to recline on the sofa or look out of the window rather than get involved in too much rough and tumble.

Chara had an excellent puppy career in the show ring, but she finds it all rather boring and as a result doesn't really show herself very well. She has a lovely long free stride and is very balanced, which certainly makes her an asset in harness, even if she doesn't like to show it off in a ring!
