| Frosty came to live here in
2006 as her breeder Chris of Zoox Kennels felt that she
would be happier running in harness alongside her sister
Tala. How right she was! Frosty is a natural worker and from
her first outings has become a mainstay of my team. She has
shown talent in every role in the team, but seems to be most
comfortable in the very important wheel position where she
applies herself to her work with vigour and great
seriousness. She has an excellent appetite, superb feet, a
good coat and a very strong driving attitude. Frosty is also
quite dominant in the pack and likes to keep the other girls
in check, although she is not always taken seriously and she
is usually at the centre of any noisy games that are started
by Tala and Foxi!
In the show ring Frosty had already made her mark before
she came here - she qualified for Crufts in her puppy year
under Breed Specialist Jenny Manley and followed that up in
2006 with the RCC at Blackpool Championship Show under
Specialist Sue Knowles. Frosty has a particularly good
stride and is very sound coming and going - a trait that not
only stands out in the ring but also helps her cover the
miles in harness easily and economically.
At home Frosty is very affectionate, and is especially
devoted to me - always appearing for a cuddle when she isn't
busy and trying her best to get right beside me at bed time.
I often wake up to find Frosty standing on my chest looking
down at me with a quizzical expression and a wag of her
tail. |
