| Lupus
is a dog with a strong personality and a firm belief in his
own position in life. He stood out from the start in the
litter for his refinement and stand-offish temperament. He
has never really enjoyed the busy social world of the show
ring, but despite this his he has gained excellent critiques
from very eminent judges in our breed and won his share of
classes. He has excelled on
the trail, starting in lead, where he worked well for two
years until he moved back to team. He is quite sensitive to
temperature and so does his best work when it is very cold.
He has a long easy stride and concentrates well on his work,
which makes him a pleasure to drive.
Confident and dominant in the pack,
shy and reserved with strangers, Lupus is something of an
enigma. He and his brother Volk are very close and always do
things together, although Lupus is very much the leading
member of the partnership. Lupus has always been very
popular with the girls and loves the company of other dogs -
he is often to be found skipping around in the middle of a
game, although he doesn't like to be seen doing such
frivolous things! |
