| Solara
is the daughter of Onieda's brother Edi, and her mother is
Koona, a bitch I have admired since she was young. Little
Solara certainly stood out in her litter - she was the only
monochromatic black in a group of greys, and always seemed
to be up to something.
As she grew she developed a superb
earset and a mischievous expression, and when she was eight
weeks old I asked if she were available. After much
discussion it was agreed that she could come and live with
us, but she will stay jointly owned by Chris and I.
At nine months old Solara arrived,
inspected her new home and settled down straight away. She
is a happy, bouncy girl who plays day and night, never
misses a chance to try new things and is as mischievous in
personality as she looks!
In the show ring she has made a
superb start, and qualified for Crufts at her first
Championship show. She has qualified three times this year,
and has a BPIB to her credit.
In harness she is just as
promising, taking to her work like a duck to water. She
really enjoys herself and works very hard, throwing all her
effort into running. Unfortunately she will not be old
enough to take part in any of the 2008 races, so will be
joining the older girls in 2009. |
