Whizzy's Story
Born: 5th March 1987 - 27th February 2003    Sire: Sarnee Volk   Dam: Unknown Samoyed
Eyes: Affected HC   Hips: Not Tested
Ran: Anywhere!
Whizzy was my first sled dog, and I was lucky that she had the best features of both breeds she came from. To begin with, I did not think she would work, but her strong working pedigree (her uncle was Ch. Valchonok Prince of Forstal) shone through and she ran wheel (and occasional lead) for me for 12 years.

Whizzy was a huge personality, and was a great favourite with visitors. One friend said he liked Whiz best because "she's half DOG"!

Despite being crossbred, Whizzy managed a sort of show career, in that she once won "Dog with the Wisest Face" at the Broughty Ferry Gala from a class of around 40. Mostly, Whizzy just pleased herself - her aim in life was to get everyone around her to do exactly as she wanted, and generally she succeeded.

She was a fine lady, and is very much missed.
